SearchWrench vs Yext
An enterprise platform built on a Knowledge Graph — one source of truth for your business data, pushed out to 200+ publishers, plus reviews, social, hosted pages and Scout for AI search visibility.
They are not really the same kind of product, and this page tries to say so plainly rather than pretend we win on everything. Every price below was read from Yext's own pricing page on 1 September 2026 — the link is at the bottom. Check it before you buy; prices change.
Side by side
| SearchWrench | Yext | |
|---|---|---|
| Price | Quick Fix $99.99 one-time · Monitor $49.99/mo · Autopilot $129.99/mo | No public pricing. Custom quote, priced by location count, billed annually. |
| Built for | One-location local trade businesses — plumbers, roofers, HVAC, landscapers, auto shops. | Enterprise and large multi-location brands. In their own words: "Yext is built for serious enterprises… It's not for hobby businesses," and smaller businesses are pointed at resellers. |
| Fixes your website automatically? | Yes — rewrites your title tags and meta descriptions, adds LocalBusiness schema and fixes headings on your own website, automatically, every month. | Not on your own website. It automates your listing data across publishers, and Yext Pages generates Yext-hosted landing pages. It does not rewrite the title tags on the site you already own. |
| Tracks whether ChatGPT names you? | Yes, on every plan. We ask ChatGPT who it names for your trade in your town and tell you whether you were one of them. | Yes — Yext Scout monitors AI search visibility and tracks competitors. |
| Try it free | Free instant scan, no card, no sign-up. | No free tier and no standard free trial — their FAQ says so directly. |
| Contract | No contract, no sales call, no setup fee. | Annual billing is the norm; multi-year is the standard proposal. |
Their own FAQ: "There's no single sticker price" and "multi-year commitments earn better rates." A one-time implementation fee applies to new products; the amount is not published.
We also build websites from scratch at $1,499.99 one-time, which includes the first month of Autopilot. It is not in the table above because it is not a like-for-like comparison.
Where Yext is genuinely better
Publisher reach. a very large publisher network with direct relationships, including regional and international directories nothing else covers, plus enterprise security, SSO and governance. If you run hundreds of locations across several countries, this is a category we do not compete in.
The honest difference
Most tools in this category are built to measure and report, or to manage your listings across directories. Useful work — but it assumes somebody is going to read the report and then go and change the website. If you are a plumber running a two-van operation, nobody is.
SearchWrench does the changing. It rewrites the headline Google shows for you, writes the description underneath it, adds the business record Google reads as data, and makes your phone number tappable — on your actual site, every month, without you doing anything.
And one plain difference with Yext: our price is on the page, there is no sales call, and there is no contract. You can see what it costs without filling in a form.
Which should you pick?
Choose Yext if you have dozens or hundreds of locations, a procurement process, and someone whose job is managing the platform.
Choose SearchWrench if you run one location, and you want the problems on your website actually fixed rather than listed, without booking a demo to find out the price.
