SearchWrench vs Moz Local
Listing and presence management — publishes and syncs your business information to 90+ directories, monitors reviews, and posts to social.
They are not really the same kind of product, and this page tries to say so plainly rather than pretend we win on everything. Every price below was read from Moz Local's own pricing page on 1 September 2026 — the link is at the bottom. Check it before you buy; prices change.
Side by side
| SearchWrench | Moz Local | |
|---|---|---|
| Price | Quick Fix $99.99 one-time · Monitor $49.99/mo · Autopilot $129.99/mo | Lite $16/mo · Preferred $24/mo · Elite $33/mo — billed yearly, per location. Monthly billing is $20 / $30 / $40. |
| Built for | One-location local trade businesses — plumbers, roofers, HVAC, landscapers, auto shops. | Solo local businesses and small multi-location operations, plus agencies on the higher tiers. |
| Fixes your website automatically? | Yes — rewrites your title tags and meta descriptions, adds LocalBusiness schema and fixes headings on your own website, automatically, every month. | No. Moz Local manages directory listings, reviews and social posting. It does not touch your website's title tags or schema. Moz's site-auditing tools are a separate product, Moz Pro, and those report rather than fix. |
| Tracks whether ChatGPT names you? | Yes, on every plan. We ask ChatGPT who it names for your trade in your town and tell you whether you were one of them. | Not that we could verify. Their "Listings AI" and "Reviews AI" add-ons are automation features, not AI-assistant visibility tracking. We could find nothing either way on their pricing page — check with them. |
| Try it free | Free instant scan, no card, no sign-up. | Not stated on their pricing page. |
| Contract | No contract, no sales call, no setup fee. | Monthly billing is offered, so no annual lock-in on the self-serve tiers. |
Add-ons: Listings AI $119/yr, Reviews AI $69/yr. Enterprise tier for 50+ locations is custom.
We also build websites from scratch at $1,499.99 one-time, which includes the first month of Autopilot. It is not in the table above because it is not a like-for-like comparison.
Where Moz Local is genuinely better
Distribution and price. 90+ directories, duplicate suppression and data-health analytics, backed by Moz's pedigree — and at $16/mo per location it is the cheapest credible entry point in this whole category.
The honest difference
Most tools in this category are built to measure and report, or to manage your listings across directories. Useful work — but it assumes somebody is going to read the report and then go and change the website. If you are a plumber running a two-van operation, nobody is.
SearchWrench does the changing. It rewrites the headline Google shows for you, writes the description underneath it, adds the business record Google reads as data, and makes your phone number tappable — on your actual site, every month, without you doing anything.
What we will not claim is that we are the only one you can buy without talking to somebody — Moz Local publishes its price too, and you can sign up for it today. The difference is what happens after you pay.
Which should you pick?
Choose Moz Local if your main problem is inconsistent business information scattered across directories.
Choose SearchWrench if you run one location, and you want the problems on your website actually fixed rather than listed.
