SearchWrench ("we," "us") provides website SEO audits and monitoring. This policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. We keep it short and plain on purpose.

What we collect

Information you give us: the website URL you submit, your email address, and any business details you enter (business name, target keyword, city) when you request a score, buy a plan, or contact us.
Audit data: the results we generate about your website, drawn from public sources and public APIs (e.g., Google PageSpeed Insights, search rankings, backlink data).
Usage and device data: standard log and analytics data such as pages viewed, referring links, approximate location, browser, and device type, collected through cookies and similar technologies.
Payment data: if you purchase a plan, payment is processed by Stripe. We do not see or store your full card number.

How we use it

To run your audit and deliver your report and any monitoring you sign up for.
To email you your results and a short, relevant follow-up sequence you can unsubscribe from at any time with one click.
To operate, secure, and improve the service.
To measure and improve our marketing, including the advertising tools described below.

Advertising & analytics tools (Meta Pixel)

We use the Meta Pixel from Meta Platforms, Inc. (Facebook/Instagram) to understand how people use our site and to measure and improve our ads. The pixel records actions such as page views, running a free score, and starting checkout.

We also enable Meta's Advanced Matching feature. When you submit your email on our site, your browser creates a hashed (scrambled, one-way encrypted) version of it and sends that hash to Meta so Meta can better match website activity to ad performance. We do not send Meta your email in readable form, and we do not sell your personal information to anyone.

You can control this tracking through your Facebook ad preferences, your browser's cookie settings, or browser/ad-blocker tools. Meta's own handling of this data is governed by the Meta Privacy Policy.

Who we share it with

We do not sell or rent your personal information. We share data only with service providers who help us run SearchWrench, and only for that purpose:

Stripe — payment processing.
Meta — advertising measurement and matching, as described above (hashed identifiers only).
Email and hosting providers — to deliver your reports and operate the site.
Public data APIs (e.g., Google PageSpeed Insights) — we send the URL being audited so we can generate your results.

We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect our rights and users.

Cookies

We use cookies and similar technologies for core site functionality, analytics, and advertising measurement (including the Meta Pixel). You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; some features may not work as well if you do.

Your choices & rights

Unsubscribe from emails any time using the link in any message.
Access, correct, or delete your personal information by emailing us (below). Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under laws such as the GDPR or CCPA, including the right to opt out of certain data sharing — email us to exercise them.
Opt out of ad tracking via your Facebook ad preferences and browser cookie controls.

Data retention & security

We keep your information for as long as needed to provide the service and meet legal obligations, then delete or anonymize it. We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect it, though no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.

Children

SearchWrench is for businesses and is not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect their data.

Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. We'll change the "last updated" date above and, for material changes, take additional steps where required by law.
