SearchWrench vs BrightLocal

An all-in-one local SEO platform: local rank tracking, geo-grid maps, citation and listing tracking, Google Business Profile auditing, and review monitoring.

They are not really the same kind of product, and this page tries to say so plainly rather than pretend we win on everything. Every price below was read from BrightLocal's own pricing page on 1 September 2026 — the link is at the bottom. Check it before you buy; prices change.

Where BrightLocal is genuinely better

Measurement. 100 tracked keywords and 4 competitors per location, geo-grid ranking maps, and citation accuracy auditing across the whole ecosystem — plus sixteen years of local search research and real human support. If what you need is to *measure* local rankings in depth, they do it better than we do, and it is not close.

The honest difference

Most tools in this category are built to measure and report, or to manage your listings across directories. Useful work — but it assumes somebody is going to read the report and then go and change the website. If you are a plumber running a two-van operation, nobody is.

SearchWrench does the changing. It rewrites the headline Google shows for you, writes the description underneath it, adds the business record Google reads as data, and makes your phone number tappable — on your actual site, every month, without you doing anything.

What we will not claim is that we are the only one you can buy without talking to somebody — BrightLocal publishes its price too, and you can sign up for it today. The difference is what happens after you pay.

Which should you pick?

Choose BrightLocal if you want deep local rank measurement, geo-grids and citation auditing, and you have someone to act on the reports.

Choose SearchWrench if you run one location, and you want the problems on your website actually fixed rather than listed.
